Energy card: Beltane Reunion- There is a strong desire for emotional intimacy. You’re awakening and perhaps you have discovered that the intimacy you seek/currently experience, could be missing/was missing something important. Therefore, it felt incomplete. The union/partnership you seek can be yours, even if it seems out of reach. Be present in this moment of bliss.
10 of Cups/The Sun: In the recent past, there’s an abundance of emotional joy and fulfillment, and mostly due to your positive outlook on life. Perhaps you re-evaluated what your idea of happiness was, and found joy with where you are presently/were at the time. Emotional fulfillment, true happiness, is what you sought after/ and still seek within the depths of your spirit.
9 of cups: since we have moved from the 10 to the 9 of cups, your present energy suggests that you have accepted what you have received so far, but the energy from the recent past is what you are still wishing for. There is a lot of emotional energy here as the cups in the tarot represent our emotions. This card can also be prideful/stubborn energy. Perhaps you feel that the 10 of cups is out of reach, so you hold onto the other 9 for fear of losing it all. The key to reach the 10, is in the next card.
The Knight of Cups: the energy you put out, you receive. Therefore, if you want to receive love, you must give it. In order to receive vulnerable intimacy, it must be given first. It does not matter whether the other person has extended their cup. The lesson here is for to be open and extend your love, your honesty; to be open to share your emotions. This will be a new experience for some, but approach this with the same level of optimism and hope you once had. The one cup will be returned to you.
